Michael J. B. Kelly
started a project of photographing the Villages of Harwich in 2000, the
photos he has made to date form the base of a ongoing collection
of images.
The photographer at Bank
Street Beach.
He has been a
summer resident of the town the last 50 years and some of his favorite
memories of Cape Cod are of working summer jobs in Harwich Port, such as, door man at
the Modern Theater and soda jerk at the Rexall Drug store next to the
theater.
Having completed
over 40 years as a newspaper photographer at the Providence Journal in
Rhode Island and now retired he hopes to let others enjoy the
beauty of the Cape through his photographs.
